What will we see on the tour?

What will we do?

On our free tour of the bohemian Trastevere neighborhood, we want to share with you one of the most beautiful corners of the Eternal City.

Like a village within a big city, this neighborhood retains its essence, untouched by the hustle and bustle of Rome’s busiest areas. On this tour, you’ll discover the origins, traditions, and culture of one of the most authentic places that has long resisted the influx of tourists.

Starting from the historic Ponte Sisto and crossing the always bustling Piazza Trilussa, we’ll stroll through the narrow streets that have inspired so many artists throughout history, until we reach Piazza Santa Apollonia.

Via della Lungaretta will then take us to Piazza in Piscinulla, with a brief stop at the famous “Casa di Dante,” where the writer lived for a time.

We’ll then arrive at Piazza Santa Cecilia and its namesake church to discover together what really happened to the “patron saint of music.”

We’ll continue through the most hidden streets of Trastevere to find the church of San Francesco a Ripa, whose interior houses one of the most striking Baroque sculptures. And we’ll end our walk on a high note: in the spectacular Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, the neighborhood’s nerve center and the heart of the nightlife in this part of the city.

Without a doubt, this free tour of the Bohemian Trastevere neighborhood will leave a lasting impression…
